TERMS & CONDITIONS
Placing an order
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. Once we have taken your order and received payment, we will e-mail you and or call to confirm that we accept your order, confirming that a contract has been made between us.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this and there will be no contract between us. If the goods are not available, we may supply you with substitute goods. If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, you will not have to pay to return them to us.
Delivery
Delivery charges are individual subject to size weight and distance; the delivery price will be communicated to you at the time of ordering. Whilst we do everything to get parts to you within 4 working days occasionally it could take longer. If parts are on back order delivery can take longer in these case we will advise you of the estimated delivery date. If you have ordered painted panels delivery may take up to 14 working days.
If you don’t receive your goods within 7 days of ordering or they are damaged in transit, please let us know promptly.
Cancellation
This cancellation and returns policy applies only to consumer contracts, made between us and a natural person who is acting for purposes outside of their business.
Returns
All Returns must be made within 30 days of the date of purchase
The original invoice must accompany all returns.
Parts must be returned in the same condition, complete, and undamaged.
All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Refunds on cuts and other non-standard or custom prepped parts are subject to a 30% labor charge.
All cores must be drained of fluids and complete as sold in order to obtain credit.
Deposits or pre-paid special order parts are non-refundable.
All Returns are for in-store credit. Credit memos expire one year from the date of return.
Price Adjustment
All requests for price adjustments must be made within 10 days of the original invoice date.
Price adjustments will not exceed 50% of the original purchase price.
The part for which a price adjustment is being requested needs to be in returnable condition.
Yard may require documentation or photos of the damage as justification of any price adjustment.
All price adjustments are for in-store credit. Credit memos expire one year from the date of issuance.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
1) Small Parts / Electrical Parts / Mechanical Accessories
30 Days part replacement warranty applies unless otherwise noted on your invoice. All claims for warranty must be made within this time. Any claim made after the expiration of the warranty will not be considered.
The original invoice must accompany any claim for warranty.
The defective part must be returned to Yard for replacement.
A Life-time part replacement warranty is available for an additional fee and will be noted as such on your invoice.
The warranty term is based on the original purchase date.
2) Driveline and Major Components
30Days part replacement warranty applies unless otherwise noted on your invoice. All claims for warranty must be made within this time. Any claim made after the expiration of the warranty will not be considered.
The original invoice must accompany any claim for warranty.
Defective driveline components must be made available for inspection by the yard or a representative of the Yard while still installed in the vehicle for the purpose of analysis before warranty coverage will be considered.
New fluids, filters, seals, and gaskets must be used in the installation of the driveline component. All lubricants and fluids used must be of the type recommended by the manufacturer. Receipts for installation items must accompany the claim for warranty.
Parts and Labor warranties are available for additional cost and will be indicated on your invoice. Labor claims will be paid based on the Chilton Labor Guide at a rate of $50.00 per hour. Labor warranties are limited to the lesser of the purchase price of the component or $500.00.
John's Garage Parts reserves the right to provide warranty repair at a facility of its choice.
Labor claims will only be paid if a parts and labor warranty is indicated on your invoice.
The warranty term is based on the original purchase date.
3) Sheet metal / Body Parts
Unless otherwise noted on your invoice all Sheet metal and body parts carry a life-time corrosion or manufacture defect replacement warranty.
The original invoice must accompany any claim for warranty.
The defective part must be returned to the Yard for replacement.
Our Warranty does not cover the following items
The purchaser’s loss of time, inconvenience, Loss of use of the vehicle, towing expense, installation expense, commercial loss, rental cars, or other consequential damages.
On driveline components fluids, gaskets, seals, filters, intake manifolds, exhaust manifolds, clutches, water pumps, wiring, thermostats, sensors, hoses, belts, frost plugs, spark plugs, and injectors are not guaranteed.
Claims that result from accident, abuse, neglect, alteration, improper maintenance, or improper installation.
Claims that result from the failure of other existing components.
Claims that result from overheating due to cooling system failure.
Parts installed in vehicles used for commercial, racing, or off-road purposes, or parts used for any purpose other than the original application.
All warranties are for the original purchaser only. Warranties are not transferable.
